Half-Fare

Eligibility

Eligible Individuals are Medicare card holders and senior citizens who are ages 60 and older.

To Apply

For Medicare card holders, the individual must bring their Medicare card along with a valid form of identification to the transit office.

For senior citizens, a valid form of identification is needed to confirm the individual’s age is 60 or older. Upon confirmation of eligibility, a Half-Fare card will be distributed to the individual. There is no cost for the Half-Fare card for qualified passengers.

What Happens Next?

Upon boarding the bus, the individual must present the card to the bus operator. The operator will permit the individual to ride the bus for half the regular fare.
