Night Shuttle

Travel with Tar River Transit in the evening for work, school and/or recreation. The Night Shuttle program services destinations within the city limits of Rocky Mount, including Nash and Edgecombe Community Colleges, as well as locations in Tarboro and Nashville, NC, and Pfizer Pharmaceuticals. The Night Shuttle is accessible and affordable. All Tar River Transit vehicles are fully accessible to people of all abilities.

Passengers can also schedule a return trip as long as the trip is before 12:00 a.m. midnight.

Fares

$2.00 each one-way trip (within city limits)
$5.00 each one-way trip (outside city limits)

Pay fare in exact change directly to the driver.

Call to Schedule

All schedules for the Night Shuttle program must be made by 2 p.m. the evening of your trip. Trip reservations for Monday evenings must be made by 2 p.m. the previous Friday. Limited space available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Schedulers are available until 2 p.m. daily.

Locations

Trips can be scheduled to locations anywhere within the Rocky Mount city limits and Nash and Edgecombe Counties.
